One by one, people emerged from the depths of my mind. Their images seemed to me like psychological fixations embedded within them. They were like indescribable lumps, like long-pressed marks. They unfolded before me in shapes, colors, and textures. Some were as hard and cold as stone, others as hazy and cloudy as thick fog. It was astonishing how emotional pain could manifest itself so vividly in sensory form. Yet, I didn't look upon the scene with fear. Rather, it seemed like the beginning of a journey toward healing.
I called light over those solid forms. The light slowly flowed down from afar, spreading like a warm wave. The textures of fixity, initially cold and repulsive, began to change, gradually absorbing the light. Hard surfaces softened, and things as heavy as stone gradually melted. It wasn't something I had forcibly destroyed. They were disintegrating and disappearing on their own before the light. As I watched this process, an inexplicable sense of liberation spread within me. It was as if old tensions were being released, and a pent-up breath was being released.
I realized. This moment wasn't about me healing anyone. It wasn't my power, nor was it a change I had wrought. It was simply a wish, a wish for their well-being, that met with light and unfolded in the realm of consciousness. I simply allowed the light and offered a prayer. I didn't demand anything from the universe. Rather, when I sat quietly, grasping for nothing and controlling nothing, the light flowed down on its own. I silently observed the light, remaining in a posture of prayer.
And then something mysterious happened. As time passed, the people and situations in my daily life began to reach out to me, little by little. One by one, people who connected with the work I was doing and the mission I embraced appeared. It was as if an invisible current was orchestrating itself toward me. I felt it as synchronicity. The moments of light and liberation I had seen in meditation seemed to be leading to real-life encounters and events. Energy flowed toward my life, and my mission to make my city a city of celebration seemed to be supported from an invisible dimension.
Now, I no longer calculate the pros and cons as I used to. I no longer hesitate, wondering whether something will be beneficial or detrimental. Instead, I remain grounded in the belief that every situation will ultimately benefit me. When I think like that, the world flows much more smoothly. Even if the events before me seem tangled, I gain the confidence that I'm ultimately joining the grand rhythm that sustains me.
The scene in meditation where firm attachments dissolve into light was a metaphor for healing, created by my mind and subconscious, and at the same time, a manifestation of the energy that moves reality. Every time I recall that scene, a new sense of liberation surges within me. I feel anew how my heart feels lighter as the old weight is lifted. And each time, I realize that prayer is not a grand act. Simply sitting quietly and allowing the light to enter is enough.
Now, I see countless fixations in life: in the minds of others, in my daily life, within the framework of society and relationships. Yet, I don't look upon them with fear, for I believe they can dissolve in the light at any moment. The important thing is not to force or control that light, but to allow it. In that moment of acceptance, liberation has already begun. And that liberation goes beyond the freedom within me, and manifests itself as synchronicity in my encounters with the world.
Through this whole process, I learned once again: liberation is not destruction, but dissolution. Healing is not possession, but the stillness of prayer. And life is not a calculation, but a flow of faith. In that moment, when the solids disappeared in the light, I felt a little lighter, a little freer. That was the beginning of another transformation that would change my entire life.
