As I walk this path, I keep a few things in mind. First, immersion is not about self-righteousness, but humility. Even when immersed, it requires the courage to listen to others and confront our own vulnerabilities. Second, purification is not a one-time event, but an ongoing process. Each time a new wound arises, the process of purification must be repeated. Third, healing is contagious. When I stand with authenticity, that energy resonates with those around me, opening up the possibility of healing for others.
