  2. Estrogen
1.
Defensive chemical weapons: Plants produce estrogens to prevent insects or animals from eating them. For example, the 'lignan' component found in flaxseed is a natural defense system that causes insects to become sick or die when they eat it.
2.
Representative Plants (Beans and Flaxseeds): The plants containing the overwhelmingly highest amount of plant-based estrogen are beans and flaxseeds. They contain hundreds to tens of thousands of times more of an estrogenic bomb compared to common kidney beans or chickpeas.
3.
Lavender and Marijuana: Lavender and marijuana also contain phytoestrogens. There are numerous research reports indicating that boys who consistently used lavender oil or soap developed 'gynecomastia' (breast development).
4.
Increased risk during processing: Compared to consuming small amounts of the plant itself, the content and absorption rate of estrogenic compounds increase explosively when processed and concentrated into oils, sauces, protein powders, essential oils, smoke, etc.
5.
Adaptation by the human body (role of gut bacteria): Unlike chemical plastics, plant-based estrogens are natural substances, so fortunately, our beneficial gut bacteria (probiotics) have evolved to break them down and reduce the damage to some extent.
